Start with one room at a time. Go through everything in the room and decide what to do with it. If you want to keep anything, put it in a box. If you are getting rid of something, put it in a trash bag. Once you have gone through everything in the room, you can move on to the next one.
It is important to be as organized as possible during an estate clean out. This will make the process go much smoother. Keep items that are similar together so you can easily find what you are looking for later on.
